Lenox Travel Guide
Welcome to Lenox, MA!
Located in the heart of the The Berkshires, just a few hours from the metropolises of New York City and Boston, the village of Lenox was once a popular summer retreat for America's wealthiest citizens during the 1800s. As a result, Lenox is bursting with stunning mansions that showcase the former grandeur of the town. Lenox continues to charm visitors today with its festivals and outdoor recreation. The Mount Estate and Gardens of Edith Wharton, a Pulitzer Prize winning novelist, is open to the public and is just one example of Lenox's stately homes.
